20 Kinds of Websites I Hate!

8:45 AM

With millions of websites that are up online there are these kinds that I just hate to land into. You know? those sites of which you feel like you wasted most of your time. This blog might just be an example! So if you feel like you wasted your time reading the first 392 characters of this blog post. Then consider dawdling around a bit because this may be helpful in one way or another. ;-p

So below are the 20 kinds of Websites I hate!

  1. Social Media Websites
  2. I may have created a social media/tech blog (And yes, I still have it until now) but I'm planning to focus it on tech more than on social media since I honestly don't understand what social media is for in the first place(for traffic I suppose!).I hate social media sites because they make me feel alone - Imagine! They can drive traffic just by this little crazy thing called "Sharing".They are so keen on writing good articles and you can say I envy them for that.
  3. You Need to Log-in or Register to Comment
  4. I have encountered a lot of sites that will require a person to log-in or register in order to comment. What's worse is that they display the comment box most of the time.Deluding you to comment, and when your comment becomes quite lengthy, you hit the submit button and end up scratching your head because a pop up will appear and say "You Need to Log-in or Register to Comment" or Sign In or Sign Up now.And booyah! the best damn example is Youtube.(You even have to get logged on to "like" a video.Dang!)
  5. Scandals
  6. Yeah right! Some celebrity got either molested, caught making out, nip slipped while dancing, had talk fights or had a mugshot taken by the Police! All of which tells you nothing but Scandal! Celebrity gossipa and controversies! I know with proper SEO and compliance with Google TOS you're on your way to success! But can't you just think of anything than that? (If I may suggest the "P" industry is a lot bigger if that's the way you have chosen online!) ;-)
  7. Download Here
  8. I get to see a lot of ads displaying Download Here! Download Here! It doesn't even give you any idea on what the download is for. . .and if ever you keep on clicking those Download Here Advertisements - you might just cause your PC or MAC to BOOOOOM! A Virus has been detected.Hate those websites with ads like that!
  9. Surveys
  10. Like seriously? I effin hate those goddamn survey ads inside floating boxes (with matching website blocked effect) that mostly appears on entertainment video weblogs and sites.Dang! Whoever came up with that monetizing scheme blocking all the webpages and forcing a person to sign up, fill a survey and most of the time download some goddamn toolbar, emoticons and all is subliminally starting internet censorship is a nutcrack. And whoever falls into that is not a blogger/web master at all - why call it blog or website when it isn't available for everyone?
  11. Facebook.com
  12. Facebook.com - you wanna know why? Go to Facebook.com!
  13. PINOY TV
  14. I'm jealous because I've heard most owners of such websites have gotten around 100k+ in Adsense just because of the videos on their sites. But what I hate about these kind of sites is that they most of the time are similar to each other.Full of ads! With Chatboxes! Video Thumbnails! Mostly blogspot and boy, it loads too slow. Now, I'm thinking - I may need to create one.(Maybe sometime in Summer) Whatcha think? I hate them because they make me jealous. However, I wonder how they haven't gotten banned or disabled by the big G for copyright?
  15. SUPERTECHY
  16. The digital age! Highly technical internet jargon's had been introduced - and would take time to be decrypted. With hundreds and thousands of technology blogs and websites created every day, it is by no doubt that there are few of these which will kill you trying to think what a particular term means .These terms mostly appear on specs of products like the one with LED-backlit glossy widescreen Multi-Touch display with IPS technology, having a 1024-by-768-pixel resolution at 132 pixels per inch (ppi), Fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating, all packed with Ambient light sensor and Accelerometer supporting HE-AAC (V1), AAC (16 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC , MP3 (16 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3, and 4), Apple Lossless, AIFF, and WAV.H.264 video up to 720p, 30 frames per second, Main Profile level 3.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format while as for the processor it has a bounty of 1GHz Apple A4 custom-designed, high-performance, low-power system-on-a-chip in short IPAD! Like Whatever! Do you even mind reading that?? I know you did.Haha! ;-) Like WTF! "Hey I got a 1k buffer on technical terms, what a (_?_)!".
  17. ROTTEN
  18. Rotten.com home of the most gruesome pictures ever.I hate to see those bloody-disgusting photos!
  19. FIND THE TRUTH
  20. Why does it sound so interesting to find the truth about Mcdonalds, the truth about Michael Jackson's death, what a boy did to his school after being kicked out, how two goddamn teenagers threw poor kittens on the river and all that? I hate those facebook redirects. Those of which will require you to "LIKE" and end up completing a survey.
  21. ONE DAY TRIAL
  22. Like can you even enjoy something on a one-day trial?? O.o Hate those sites.
  23. I SEE ADS
  24. These are the websites which has gone too far enough in making money online.
  25. I Hate
  26. I hate websites and blogs that loves to hate! The irony huh? Well most people rant but hate is just something - yeah, pretty much like this one.I hate myself!
  27. Blogs with Background Music
  28. This thing usually occurs on personal pages. And whenever I get to one, I startle.I dunno why, but I just don't like blogs with auto-play background music.I turn them off in an instant once I find the music player.Take note, it's a major major turn off!
  29. X Websites
  30. Well, I've watched one if not quite a few of such.lol.I hate it because it corrupts the mind of the youth.
  31. Websites of Atheist
  32. I don't want to talk about them though! I do not believe in them. *Amen*
  33. Entertainment Copy/Paste!
  34. This has been my problem since I started writing about movies, although I am (by far) the only movie blogger who focuses more on Filipino movie news.I just hate it when some Entertainment bloggers copy my works. What's worse is that there's no link back and if ever there is, it is being nofollowed. And since they get the most traffic, it would turn out that I just copied from them..crap! they're pathetic!
  35. Sploggy Trends
  36. Make Money Online once killed my passion for blogging. It's not actually great to check Google.com/trends and Yahoo Trending topics and even twitter's to blog. Not that it's not good at all, because it has somehow made my earnings and traffic went up .But then most of these trends mostly deal on things that you hardly even know about. You do quick and instant research to get traffic (that's good). But doing it everyday is just frustrating I tell you - that's why I deleted my splog already and I hate splogs! (Splog = Spam + Blog)It may not occur to you that your blog is a splog at first because you would consider that it's just a mixed of everything under the sun and all that. But then later you will realize what your blog has become! And it's when all that is in your mind is money.
  37. Make Money Online
  38. I may hate Carlo Ocab for making it to the first page of the results for the above mentioned keyword. But I hate Make Money Online websites because I'm insecure of their earnings.lol
  39. Watch Movies Legally!
  40. No matter how many disclaimer, disclosure, privacy policy, terms of agreement, Dcma notice you will post on your watch movies online website. It will never become legal to play full-length films online.
That's it! The 20 Kinds of Websites I Hate. .Bwahahaha! You may also like to add the websites you hate on the comment below.Or join an angry mob and protest against the very hateful(say bitter) Markable.me! lol

  4. What I hate about blogs the most is that they say its a personal blog but when you read through their entries, its all in pay per posts. You are very familiar with this right?
I still don't get it though... do they still get credible readers from their blogs by making such? Doing so in your blog makes it appear like your lying or dishonest about yourself. It's okay if you post some, but if you make a blog full of pay per reviews?? It gets boring... and one would believe you.
And I hate sites that are just full of ads! which you can't concentrate on reading the content itself.
And blogs that have to unnecessary images! Well, I'm not talking about you though since your images are well in line with your posts, which makes it interesting to read.

anyway, nice entry mark :) dama kita :P hehehe

  12. I also learned the hard way regarding having a blog with too many paid post content. Someone did pointed it out that they thought i was talking about myself and they felt cheated because im making them read advertorial, that's why i changed its them into a magazine advertorial blog, but i still strive to make it at least helpful to those interested in reading it. i now have a personal blog that i keep that's not monetized.
